Philanthropy: A Greek term which directly translated means "love of mankind." It is an idea, event or action that is done to better humanity and usually involves some sacrifice.
CMF Partners has long believed in excellence of service for our customers. We have equally been a part of helping, through our time and resources, those most in need around the world... the global and local (sometimes referred to as Glocal) community.
CMF Partners, in conjunction with our clients, donate a portion of all proceeds to the following charities:
WCF (http://www.wcfellowship.com)
World Compassion Fellowship is a 501(c)(3) organization whose goal is to provide humanitarian assistance to impoverished 3rd world communities across Central & South America (including Haiti, Dominican Republic and Peru), Middle East, Africa (Malawi, Guinea-Bissau, Benin, Uganda) and Asia (India, Cambodia, Philippines). They are committed to offering support through medical and dental clinics, healthcare seminars, food programs, material assistance to needy families, and other types of practical assistance. They partner with trusted field organizations for ongoing development and care. 100% of all public donations go toward the humanitarian mission.
We at CMF Partners are actively involved with WCF.
charity: water (http://www.charitywater.org/)
charity: water is a non-profit organization bringing clean and safe drinking water to people in developing nations. 100% of all public donations directly fund water projects, and we prove every dollar using photos and GPS coordinates on a map.
Samaritan’s Purse (http://www.samaritanspurse.org/)
While well known for Operation Christmas Child (over 100 million gifts given), the World Medical Mission and the Relief and Development work they do is significant and ongoing across 50 countries in Central and South America, Africa, Asia, the Middle East and Europe (i.e., Kosovo).
World Concern (http://www.worldconcern.org/)
World Concern has very targeted goals: respond to disasters; dig wells; educate people. World Concern offers life, opportunity and hope in 18 of the most desperate countries on earth. Here are some of the ways they help: Protecting children, Education, Fighting Hunger, Microloans, Vocational Training, Health Services, Clean Water and Wells and Disaster Response.
Salvation Army International - Emergency Relief & Health Services (http://www.salvationarmy.org/ihq/emergency)
Emergencies and disasters come in many shapes and sizes. Some, like the earthquakes in Haiti 2010 and in Japan 2011, take centre stage in world media attention. Other emergencies touch the lives of thousands yet appear to go unnoticed. However, one thread runs though many of these events – the response of Salvation Army Emergency Services. For almost as long as The Salvation Army has existed, it has actively operated hospitals and clinics in some of the neediest areas of the world.
US Focused:
Midwest Food Bank (http://www.midwestfoodbank.org)
Midwest Food Bank (MFB), a faith-based, non-denominational nonprofit 501 (c) (3) organization, was started in 2003 when the Kieser family began providing food out of a building on their family farm. MFB began by serving about 10 food pantries in McLean County, Illinois. Today they serve approximately 500 organizations. The food given out each month now reaches over 100,000 people.
We at CMF Partners work with MFB as they supply a food pantry for families in need in NYC.
Please fill out the form below to select your charity of choice.
If multiple charities are selected we will divide the donation evenly between them unless stated otherwise.
